New people manager at Suncorp
Suncorp today announced the appointment of Amanda Revis as group executive for human resources.
Revis will assume her new role on 16 August, 2010, reporting to chief executive Patrick Snowball. Her responsibilities will include delivery of the employee components of the group’s ‘Building Blocks’ program.
She has over 25 years experience in business management, strategic planning and human resources.
Her previous experience includes senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group (HBOS Australia), Westpac, FOXTEL and the Mars Group.
“Amanda has a very important role to play in my leadership team because she will represent the interests of Suncorp employees at the top table. She will also deliver the consistent employee infrastructure that is an important part of our strategic planning,” Snowball said.
Revis said she looked forward to her role as it “offers a real opportunity to continue to develop Suncorp’s human resources capabilities.”
