AMP Capital has appointed a new fund manager to its AMP Capital Diversified Property Fund.

The company announced this week it had appointed former Lend Lease staffer, Kylie O'Connor, to the role.

The announcement said O'Connor would be responsible for delivering the strategy, growth and investment performance of the $4.2 billion fund and would report to AMP Capital Head of Property Funds Management, Chris Judd.

O'Connor replaces incumbent Fund Manager Louise Joslin who is retiring from executive roles.

O'Connor will commence her new role in mid-2015.
