New chairman appointed to AMP Capital Investors
AMP Capital Investors chairman Jack Ritch has announced his retirement today as both chairman of the company and of the AMP Capital China Growth Fund, while former National Australia Bank director, Dr Brian Clark will step up to the new role.
Clark has been on the AMP Board since January 2008 and has been a director of the AMP Capital Investors Board and a member of its audit committee since February 2008.
Clark, who is currently a director of Boral, was previously a director of National Australia Bank and various Vodafone Group PLC subsidiaries and separately limited boards.
Clark has spent 10 years in an array of senior executive roles at Vodafone International, most recently as group resources director in the UK. He was also chief executive officer of Vodafone’s Australian business as well as chief executive of the Asia-Pacific region.
The AMP Capital China Growth Fund will now comprise four non-executive directors and two executive directors.
