New CFO for IRESS

The long-serving chief financial officer of financial planning software provider, IRESS, Stu Bland, has announced his retirement from the company effective from 1 October.

The company announced to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) today that Bland would be succeeded by former Commonwealth bank executive, John Harris, who will join the company next month and take up his official responsibilities in May.

The ASX announcement said that at the Commonwealth Bank Harris had been responsible for Strategy and Business Development of International Financial Services, Asia.
