New CEO for RetireInvest
Former Gensys Wealth Advisers executive Paul Campbell has been appointed to the role of chief executive of ING's dealer group RetireInvest.
Formerly chief operations officer for Gensys, Campbell's most recent role was as chief executive of South Australia-based advisory firm Poynter Hargraves Financial Consultants.
Campbell has been credited with growing Poynter Hargraves to double its size through acquisitions and "organic growth" in the space of 12 months, as well as assisting in its expansion to a national practice.
The appointment follows the widely reported departure of former chief executive Greg Dunger and chief operating officer Michael Scutts.
ING's chief executive Harry Stout expressed confidence that their choice will lead to positive development of the group, "leveraging the existing strengths" and energising the business.
RetireInvest has 90 practices nationwide with over 220 financial advisers.
Campbell will begin work at the group on February 11.
