New CEO named for Crowe Horwath
Global accounting firm, Crowe Horwath has announced the appointment of a new chief executive.
The company announced this week that David Mellor, former CEO of the company’s UK business, Crowe Clark Whitehill, had been elected as Crowe Horwath's new CEO effective from 1 April, next year.
He succeeds Kevin McGrath, who will retire on 31 March 2018 having served as CEO since 2012.
Mellor was Crowe Clark Whitehill LLP's CEO, the UK member firm of Crowe Horwath International and has served on the Crowe Horwath International board of directors for four years.
The company announcement said Mellor graduated from Oxford University in 1989 and had more than 25 years of professional experience advising international businesses and their shareholders on tax matters.
