Ignition Wealth has appointed a former National Australia Bank executive, Manish Prasad as its new chief executive.

Prasad’s appointment was announced by Ignition Wealth co-founder and inaugural chief executive, Mark Fordee who described the new CEO as deeply experienced and well-respected.

The company’s announcement noted that Prasad had most recently been the Director of Asset and Wealth Management at KPMG prior to which had worked for NAB/MLC, AMP/AXA and Genesys Wealth Advisers.

Prasad’s appointment follows Ignition Wealth’s January announcement of the appointment of Alan Quinlan as chief executive of Ignition Wealth, Ireland.

Commenting on his appointment, Prasad said the digital financial advice industry had reached an exciting stage and he was looking forward to driving the business as Australia’s lead B2B robo-advice solutions provider.
