New CEO for Centrepoint Alliance
Former Shadforth Financial Group chief executive officer Angus Benbow has been appointed as the new chief executive of Centrepoint Alliance, and will assume the position from acting chief executive Soula Cargakis next April.
Confirming Benbow’s appointment, Centrepoint Alliance chair, Alan Fisher, said: “I am delighted to welcome Angus to the Company. His proven leadership skills and passion for quality financial advice make him a great addition to the Centrepoint team.”
Benbow has held the position of chief executive with Shadforth since its acquisition by IOOF in November 2015 and has previously held executive roles with Perpetual and NewsCorp Australia, as well as in the Royal Australian Navy.
Cargakis has acted as Centrepoint's chief executive since former CEO John de Zwart announced his resignation in August.
