Dealer group Australian Financial Services Group (AFS) has a new chief executive, former ANZ Advice executive Alan Logan.

Logan's appointment to head AFS was announced today by AFS chairman Barry Stephen.

Prior to joining AFS, Logan was a director of private consultancy Bombora Advice, prior to which he was general manager for ANZ Advice and Distribution.

Logan replaces Peter Daly as CEO of AFS, with Daly having parted company with the dealer group earlier in the year.
