New appointment for Perpetual’s diversified funds
Perpetual Investments has appointed a senior investment analyst to it diversified funds team.
Glen Foster, who joined Perpetual in 2009 as a quantitative analyst for its quantitative equities investment team, will assist with the ongoing development of Perpetual’s active asset allocation strategies as well as its quantitative systems, Perpetual stated. Foster’s focus will also be on the development of a range of ‘beta prime’ strategies across asset classes, which Perpetual stated sought to achieve an improved and highly cost effective risk/return outcome for investors compared to a passive approach.
As at 30 November, 2010, Perpetual had more than $2.46 billion invested in single manager diversified funds.
