NAB private wealth appoints GM
High profile banker, Jason Murray, has taken on the role of General Manager of NAB's NSW Private Wealth division.
Murray joins from Sirius Minerals Plc, where he was chief financial officer, before which he was head of capital markets at Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Australia branch.
He said the appointment was the "next step in (his) career".
"As a NAB Private Wealth customer myself, I know that clients are looking for a private bank that offers tailored wealth solutions and exclusive investment opportunities.
"One of the key advantages of NAB Private Wealth is the phenomenal network it provides for clients."
Executive general manager of NAB Private Wealth, Christine Yates, welcomed Murray's networks of boardroom contacts.
"Jason's deep knowledge of capital markets means he is uniquely placed to strengthen the offering of our private wealth business, in particular enabling private client access to institutional capital markets offerings," she said.
