Tasmanian-based banking and wealth management group, MyState Limited has appointed a new general manager, technology and operations.

The company announced it had appointed former KPMG executive, Paul Moss, to the role.

Moss will take up his position in early May and was previously the leader of KPMG's Tasmanian IT advisory practice, prior to which he was program director at the University of Tasmania.

MyState's managing director and chief executive, Melos Sulicich, said he believed Moss' wide experience would benefit MyState as it expanded into new geographic markets and improved its digital channels.
