MLC has picked from AXA’s senior ranks again — this time recruiting former national development manager for AXA’s Financial Advice Network, Chris Matlock (pictured).

Matlock has been appointed to the position of MLC Advice Solutions state manager for Victoria and Tasmania, and will manage the practice development management teams across both states.

His appointment came a week after it was announced that Andrew Barnett, former head of structured solutions at AXA, had been appointed to head MLC and NAB Wealth’s new retirement solutions team.

Matlock’s team will advise MLC-licensed financial planning practices on developing their businesses.
