MLC expands investment management team
MLC has announced the appointment of Michael Karagianis as an investment strategist in its investment management business.
In his new role, Karagianis will work alongside Brian Parker and will be responsible for conducting investment research, developing investment strategies and presenting to financial advisers across the country.
He has more than 24 years of investment management experience, having previously worked in senior roles at UBS Global Asset Management and Aberdeen Asset Management, among others.
Acting chief investment officer at MLC Investment Management Susan Gosling said as part of his duties, Karagianis would conduct presentations to financial advisers and their clients, supporting Brian Parker.
“Michael will also contribute to the Strategic Overlay process for our diversified funds, including the Horizon series and Long Term Absolute Return fund,” added Gosling.
