Midwinter Financial Services has appointed a new national distribution manager and a new manager of technical services, it announced today.

Peter Burns, the new national distribution manager, was formerly the head of key accounts at Advance Asset Management.

Burns will oversee the national distribution of Midwinter’s Reasonable Basis software and its new software product, back2basis.

Bill Faraj, the new manager of technical services, was a paraplanner with First Capital and Telstra Super Financial Planning.

Both men will report to Midwinter’s general manager of strategy and technical services, Matthew Esler.

“Both Peter and Bill are passionate about enabling financial advisers with the service and technology they need,” Esler said.
