MGD appoints Director of Social Investment
Brisbane-based financial services firm, MGD has appointed a Director of Social Investment and Philanthropy.
The company announced today that it had appointed Dr Mark Herbertt to the role which will see him leading MGD’s Philanthropic Advisory services and working closely with clients to ensure their financial resources are best utilised to achieve their philanthropic objectives.
Commenting on the appointment, MGD chief executive, John Barton said it reflected the firm’s continued commitment to offering first-rate, holistic financial solutions for clients.
“Social investment and philanthropy are a key element in not only our firm but in many of our clients’ overall wealth management strategies,” said Mr Barton.
Herbertt joins MGD from Social Ventures Australia where he was Queensland Director.
