Mercer grows investment consulting business
Mercer has expanded its investment consulting business, hiring Dr Richard Fuller as a specialist consultant.
Fuller moved from HESTA Super Fund, where he helped develop its environmental, social and governance policy, as well as the active ownership policy framework. He also managed the fund’s commitments in accordance with the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment.
Mercer has also made six other new appointments to its investment consulting business, including JP Crowley, who joins the company as a consultant based in Melbourne, and four other analysts.
The company said the team expansion came as a response to the increased interest in its investment operations risk services.
Mercer Sentinel had also been expanding its team, with Beth Pitman joining the team as an associate, following the recent appointment of Elliott Graham as a senior associate.
Mercer now has more than 100 investment consulting staff in Australia and New Zealand.
