Mercer appoints chief customer officer

Mercer has moved to lift its customer experience capabilities with the appointment of a chief customer and marketing officer within the Pacific market leadership team.

The company announced that it had promoted Renee McGowan to the role.

McGowan has around 17 years' experience in financial services across Asia, Europe and the Pacific, specialising in customer service, business strategy and marketing.

She has been promoted from her previous role as customer service and advice leader.
