Mason Stevens appoints Jack Chemello head of equities
Former BT portfolio manager Jack Chemello has been appointed head of equities at Mason Stevens.
Working closely with the investment team led by chief investment officer Vincent Hua, Chemello will oversee the development of Mason Stevens' equities business.
"Jack's experience significantly enhances our equities capability and strengthens our multi-asset offering," Mason Stevens chief executive Thomas Bignill said.
With more than 16 years experience in both domestic and international markets, Chemello most recently headed up the BT Imputation Fund, as well as BT's Ethical Funds.
From 2003 to 2006, he was BT's senior equities analyst with responsibility for banks, non-bank financial, listed property, media and utilities.
Before joining BT, Chemello played a key role in redesigning the investment process at ING Investment Management as co-head of emerging companies.
