Macquarie Private Wealth appoints new COO
Macquarie Private Wealth has appointed Natasha Yeoh as chief operating officer.
Yeoh joins Macquarie Private Wealth from Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management in New York, where she was the managing director, head of advice and guidance execution. In her new role she will support more than 400 financial advisers across Australia and New Zealand, focusing on providing advisers with the research, marketing, training, operations, strategy and execution tools to help grow the business and further support clients, Macquarie stated.
The head of Macquarie Private Wealth, Eric Schimpf, said the company aimed to bring senior executives into the business that had the global expertise and experience “to bring fresh perspectives and new ways of thinking to our team”.
He stated that Yeoh would play an important role in the business’ growth strategy going forward, as well as enhancing the quality and delivery of advice.
Yeoh will be based in the Sydney office.
