The 'M in HTM Wilson' joins Elston Partners
McCarthy has joined Elston Partners after more than 20 years at Wilson HTM (in various positions), following his father Peter McCarthy, who was a founding member of Wilson HTM, into the business.
"It was a big decision for me to leave a company my father cofounded, but I firmly believe in the Elston Partners' model of offering premium investment advice and portfolio management services to private investors," McCarthy said.
Elston Partners managing director Andrew McKie said McCarthy's move was an endorsement of the company's approach and the services it provided its clients.
"The M in Wilson HTM has joined us," he told Money Management.
Elston Partners, which has offices in Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, split from Wilson HTM as a franchisee last year.
