Lawyer-based industry superannuation fund, legalsuper, has extended its Queensland presence with the appointment of a second Client Service Manager to the State.

The fund announced this week it had appointed Nathan McCabe to the role, working alongside Colin Kerr.

Commenting on the appointment, legalsuper chief executive, Andrew Proebstl said that it reflected growing member demand for personal contact and an 86 per cent growth in the fund's Queensland membership over the past five years.

He said McCabe had been recruited from NAB Financial Planning where he has been a Senior Financial Planner.

Proebstle said McCabe had held previous senior roles at Queensland Treasury Corporation and the Queensland Audit Office.
