Key ING appointment
ING Australia has appointed its first-ever chief operating officer in the form of senior ANZ Bank executive Fred Bertram.
Bertram, who is currently the managing director of ANZ’s Operations Technology and Shared Services Division, based in Bangalore, India, will take charge of the newly-formed Customer Solutions Business, which brings together ING’s IT, operations, E-business and customer service needs.
He will report to ING Australia chief executive Paul Bedbrook.
Bertram will take up his new role in March, next year.
