K2 adds fund manager to the team
K2 asset management has recruited Jeff Thompson as a fund manager for its K2 Select international fund.
K2's head of distribution, Andrew Hall, said the company was looking for someone who had lived and worked in European markets because the position encompasses selecting stocks for the region.
Thompson spent 11 years in London, having worked for Thames River Capital, Coronation Fund Managers and Deutsche Bank.
His appointment increases the size of K2’s funds management team to 10.
