JP Morgan AM’s key BDM appointment
J.P. Morgan Asset Management has expanded its business development team.
The company announced today that it had appointed Joseph Tobias, to the team as a key account manager, southern region.
The announcement said Tobias would be based in Melbourne and report to JP Morgan AM Funds Business national sales manager, Brett Mennie.
Tobias will have responsibility for covering Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.
Confirming Tobias' appointment, JP Morgan AM head of Australia funds, David Hallifax, said it had occurred at a time when the company was continuing to execute on its growth strategy.
"This appointment illustrates our commitment to building a distribution team to better service the needs of financial advisers," Hallifax said.
Tobias was most recently Victorian regional manager, Zurich Investments.
