Janus Henderson appoints global head of multi-asset, alternatives

Janus Henderson has appointed Michael C. Ho as global head of multi-asset and alternatives, responsible for the firm’s asset allocation, multi-strategy and alternatives team worldwide.
Ho has extensive industry experience, with a recent stint as chief investment officer of investments solutions at UBS Asset Management in London, and senior roles at Mellon Capital Management.
He was also the chief investment officer for alternatives, global macro and active emerging market equities, and senior managing director and portfolio manager at State Street Global Advisors.
Ho would be a member of the executive committee at Janus Henderson Investors based in London, and would report directly to head of global asset allocation investments, Ash Alankar, head of diversified alternatives, David Elms, and head of multi-asset UK, Paul O’Connor.
Janus Henderson’s global chief investment officer, Enrique Chang, said the firm believed Ho had the right investment and research expertise, as well as management experience, to build the multi-asset and alternatives team.
