IRESS accepts user input on design

IRESS has announced its new initiative, IRESS Labs, would allow financial advisers to test and provide feedback on prototypes during a development phase before co-designed features are released.
Labs would also allow IRESS to regularly roll out new and updated functions to ensure users can reap the benefits of an advancement quickly.
The initiative, which is available through IRESS’ XPLAN, has already provided new co-designs such as a refreshed screen design, simpler menu structure and new advice management capabilities for the XPLAN product.
Product executive, Emily Chen, said Labs expanded IRESS’ face-to-face user-centred design process.
“We’ve always included our users’ ideas and suggestions of what they would like to see in our software and what business problems they are looking to solve with technology,” she said. “IRESS Labs means more users will be able to participate more easily, with the software being even better for it.”
