Investment advisory firm Frontier Advisors has announced appointments and internal promotions in different areas of the firm.

The firm has promoted Justine O'Connell to a senior consultant role, bringing the senior consultant team to 10, including director of consulting, Fiona Trafford-Walker.

O'Connell first joined Frontier in 2005 before leaving to join Watson Wyatt in London. She came back to Frontier as a consultant in 2010, working in client advice and manager research roles, specialising in fixed interest and cash.

The firm has also promoted Tony Singh to associate consultant. Singh, who joined the firm in 2011 specialises in advice and research around listed and unlisted property.

Frontier CEO Damian Moloney said it has been difficult to find quality investment and consulting staff but there are high calibre people available.

The firm also announced it has appointed Melinda He as an analyst, starting next month. She comes from Ernst and Young where she helped super funds with tax advice.
