Intech gains super appointment

Sydney-based asset consultant Intech Investment Consultants has picked up a major new mandate from the Local Government Superannuation Scheme (LGSS).

LGSS said it had appointed Intech as the fund’s external asset consultant.

Intech chairman Peter Woods said Intech would be focused on developing strategies in portfolio construction, providing specialist manager research and generating innovative ideas for the fund.

LGSS selected Intech after running a review process that it began late last year.
