Insync boosts investment team numbers

International equity fund manager Insync Funds Management has added to its investment team with the appointment of Bob Desmond as senior portfolio manager.

Desmond has more than 16 years experience in global and emerging market equities and comes to Insync from Seilern Investment Management in London.

He was also a co-founder and chief investment officer of Fleming Asset Management Zimbabwe (now Imara Asset Management), which grew into the largest independent asset manager in the country.

This appointment increases the size of Insync’s investment team to four people.
