Infocus appoints chairman-elect
Infocus Wealth Management Limited has appointed an industry veteran to its board as chairman-elect.
The company announced this week it had appointed Roy McKelvie as an independent non-executive director and chairman-elect to the group's board of directors.
It said McKelvie's career had spanned financial markets and operational roles in the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia with his last full time executive role being as chief executive of Transfield Holdings prior to which he had been the managing director and CEO, of Gresham Private Equity in Sydney.
He is currently chairman of Encompass Corporation and Condor Energy Services. He is also the chairman of the investment board of AMB Capital Partners, a non-executive director of Coolabah Capital Investments, and a member of the advisory board of Enlighten Operational Excellence.
McKelvie will take up the chairman role with Infocus on 1 January, next year.
Commenting on the appointment, Infocus Group founder and chairman, Darren Steinhardt, said McKelvie's appointment was key to the Infocus Group's continued evolution and ongoing growth.
