IFM boosts business development team
Industry Funds Management (IFM) chief executive Brett Himbury has boosted the company’s business development team with the appointment of Umberto Mecchi as executive director of marketing.
Mecchi’s former roles included executive manager of strategy and marketing at HOSTPLUS, strategy director at trademarkDM, and marketing manager of business solutions at Zurich Australia. Other directorships include The Shannon Company and EJ Whitten Foundation.
Himbury said Mecchi’s experience would increase IFM’s investment team’s focus and deliver competitive results to investors, adding that Mecchi would “play a broader role” in the design and execution of the group’s plans.
