Hyperion appoints associate director

Former Perpetual Investment Management staffer Stephen Tilston has been appointed associate director of Hyperion Asset Management.

In his new role, he will head up the equities fund manager's institutional business development within the boutique institution and family office client portfolio.

With more than 10 years of experience in equities, Tilston was most recently Perpetual's equities portfolio specialist. Prior to that, he held business development roles with the London Stock Exchange and Reuters Group.

He will be based in Sydney and report to Hyperion managing director Tim Samway.
