Hastings High Yield Fund gets new COO

Hastings Funds Management has promoted Steve Rankine to the position of chief operating officer of its High Yield Fund.

Rankine has been acting chief operating officer of the fund since the departure of his predecessor in December 2010.

He joined Hastings from Westpac Institutional Bank in 2008, previously holding the role of head of Westpac’s global debt capital markets. Rankine had also run both project and structured debt teams and public/private partnership businesses, acquiring experience in advisory projects and structured and leveraged finance transactions.
