Electronic platform provider FNZ has expanded its operations in the region with the appointment of Martin Jennings in the newly created position of chief operating officer for Australia and New Zealand.

Jennings reports directly to group chief executive Adrian Durham, and is to be responsible for strategic planning, product development and implementation, service delivery and infrastructure management for the region.

Jennings relocated from London to FNZ’s Sydney office to take up his role at the end of May.

Before joining FNZ, Jennings held the position of managing director for AXA’s Elevate platform, which is powered by FNZ.

Durham said the group had bolstered its development, delivery and management teams, and the new hire put FNZ in a very strong position.
