Fixed income boutique appoints another managing director
Kapstream Capital has extended its senior team by appointing Stephen Goldman as managing director and portfolio manager.
He will commence employment on 1 September 2010, upon the completion of transitioning his role from his previous employer.
Prior to joining Kapstream, Goldman was a managing director and global lead portfolio manager at Goldman Sachs Asset Management New York, where he was responsible for management and oversight of more than $35 billion in global fixed income portfolios.
His responsibilities included working with strategy teams to identify and implement trade ideas, monitoring portfolio risks, conducting performance attribution analysis and the reporting of portfolio outlook, strategy and positioning.
Goldman’s previous experience includes holding senior positions at PIMCO in London and the World Bank in Washington.
He will play an integral role across the full spectrum of Kapstream’s business.
