First Sentier Investors welcomes head of institutional distribution
First Sentier Investors (FSI) has appointed Melbourne-based Kevin Kandasamy as head of institutional distribution across the Australia and New Zealand business.
Commencing today (14 August), Kandasamy will report to Lauren Prendiville, managing director and head of distribution across the APAC region.
Within the ANZ distribution team, he will oversee FSI’s institutional distribution strategy, strengthen institutional client and consultant relationships and lead the high-performing team.
Kandasamy previously worked at Dimensional Fund Advisors for more than 17 years prior to his recent appointment.
He held the roles of vice president and regional director, head of institutional and co-head of client group across his time there.

Kandasamy also commented on his new position at FSI: “First Sentier Investors has a long and successful track record as a responsible investor and a leading global asset manager.

The global fund manager currently manages $222.8 billion in assets and offers long-term investment capabilities.
This includes Australian and global equities, global emerging markets and Asia Pacific equities, direct and listed infrastructure, fixed income and multi-asset solutions.
Additionally, the firm recently announced a strategic partnership with AlbaCore Capital Group. This will include alternative credit capabilities to further diversify and expand its investment offerings.
