Financial Synergy has appointed Phillip Campbell to head up its operations.

Campbell succeeds Ken Galbraith, who leaves the role to return to his consulting business, a Financial Synergy spokesperson said.

Campbell was previously regional director of SAMI (Strategic Asset Management International), for which he set up the business in Australia.

He is a non-executive director of a number of businesses and has worked with leading-edge technical companies throughout his career, Financial Synergy chairman and founder David Orford said.

“Phillip has transitioned a number of [small to medium enterprises] to the next level of corporate sophistication. His early experience in large public companies and, subsequently, with [initial public offerings] and [merger and acquisitions] activity will stand us in good stead for the future,” Orford said.
