Colonial First State has appointed Scott Durbin as its new head of platform sales, replacing Aubrey Roga, who left the firm to join MLC in a key insurance role in February this year.

Durbin has been with Colonial for nine years, the last three of which were spent as head of platforms, product and investment services.

There is currently no formal replacement for Durbin, with a company spokesperson stating the replacement “will be covered through internal capabilities”.

Durbin will commence his new role on 31 May.
