DomaCom Australia Limited has moved to enhance its move into south-east Asia with the appointment of a specialist lawyer and corporate adviser to the board.
DomaCom chairman, Grahame Evans has announced the appointment of Peter Church as a Non-executive Director.
Evans said Church had also been appointed Non-executive Director of DomaCom Singapore Private Limited, a subsidiary of DomaCom Limited.
"The addition of Peter Church to our board and our Singaporean entity's board is a significant appointment for DomaCom," Evans said. "His work in South East Asia has been recognised with the Medal of the Order of Australia and will benefit our expansion into this market enormously."
The DomaCom announcement said that as a lawyer and corporate adviser Church had spent much of the past 40 years advising those carrying on business or seeking to carry on business in South East Asia and India.
Church currently chairs AFG Venture Group, an Australian and Asian corporate advisory firm and is a Special Counsel to the English law firm, Stephenson Harwood.
