Crystal Wealth grows team
Managed Discretionary Accounts (MDA) focused firm, Crystal Wealth Partners, has grown its team to 14 people.
The financial planning firm confirmed the recruitment number this week, noting that it included former Financial Planning Association (FPA) board member, Louise Lakomy, who had come on board as a director, and senior financial adviser appointments which included former Commonwealth Bank private clients adviser, Chris Murray and senior advisers, Keith Vermer and Chris Barrett.
Confirming the growth, Crystal Wealth Partners executive director, Tim Wedd, noted that the firm now had over $250 million in funds under advice.
"When we started this business, I used to say that managed accounts were being embraced primarily by higher net worth clients but they ‘should' start to take off more widely. Now, I am working with advisers who are using managed accounts across a range of clients as well as HNWs and using integrated portfolio solutions such as ours to better manage tax and pension outcomes," he said.
