Countplus appoints executive director
Bentleys principal Philip Rix, who has 30 years experience in small and large accounting practices, has been appointed an executive director of Countplus.
Before founding his own accounting practice in 1999, Rix had more than 16 years experience working with the four major banks and second-tier accounting firms.
His accounting practice grew to six directors and 32 staff before it became a member firm of Countplus and the Western Australian franchise for the Bentleys Group, Countplus said.
In 2008, Rix was appointed to the national board of Bentleys. He will continue to act as a principal for Bentleys.
Following his appointment, the Countplus board will have three non-executive and three executive directors.
