Contango adds compliance expertise
Contango Asset Managaement has recruited Skye Radley as its compliance and legal officer.
Radley is a financial services compliance specialist and was recruited from Equity Trustees, where she was involved in the legal and compliance oversight of more than 200 managed investment schemes.
According to Contango, Radley's appointment adds a further level of compliance expertise to the investment house ahead of its scheduled listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) later this month.
The listing follows a management buyout of the company in June, involving chief investment officer, George Boubouras, and an investment vehicle led by James Packer.
Boubouras said that Radley's appointment was an important step for the business, in keeping with its commitment to a high degree of regulatory scrutiny and compliance.
"Skye's appointment adds another exceptional level of experience to our team, and her expertise will help ensure we're on the right path, as we look to grow the business into one of Australia's pre-eminent fund managers," he said.
