CommInsure launch digital claims service
CommInsure has launched what it is describing as an industry-leading end-to-end digital claims service to make it easier for members of its group life and super fund branches to lodge claims.
CommInsure’s head of life product pricing and strategy, Frank Crapis, said the digital claims platform was developed and designed with input from members, and each prototype was tested with members.
“The result is a user-friendly digital claims facility that guides members through lodging a claim, and then shows them exactly where they are in their claim journey,” said Crapis.
The launch has allowed members to check whether they have cover, complete a health questionnaire and check the progress of their claim through the online platform. Members can also opt to receive automated updates via SMS or email.
Crapis said the CommInsure digital service has followed the increased focus of super funds on engaging with members and improving customer service to fulfil their insurance requirements.
