ClearView appoints chief underwriter

ClearView Wealth has appointed Scott Hodgson as its chief underwriter, responsible for all underwriting operations, including policies, procedures, individual risk assessment and selection.

Hodgson has spent 25 years in the financial services industry, having worked for TAL, AMP, Tyndall Life Insurance and PrefSure.

ClearView managing director Simon Swanson said Hodgson had been involved in all aspects of life insurance, including product development, sales and marketing, and life insurance products within superannuation.

"His skills and experience will greatly assist us in introducing new products to the market, starting with our life advice products and expanding our business across Australia," Swanson said.
