Citi has announced Deirdre Wroth as head of banking and wealth management products for its consumer bank in Australia with the appointment effective immediately.

Wroth will be responsible for Citi's mortgage, deposit and insurance product teams, as well as the bank's treasury, investments and wealth advisory functions.

"I am delighted to promote Deidre to this important role that will see her focus on delivering innovative, high quality and integrated banking and wealth solutions to our customers," head of Citi's consumer bank in Australia Julian Potter said.

Wroth joined Citi in 2012 as head of investments, treasury and wealth advisory, where she was responsible for Citi Australia's wealth specialists, treasury services and investment products.

She held senior banking, investment and wealth management positions at NAB and Macquarie Bank before joining Citi.
