Former Challenger Financial Services Group chief executive Chris Cuffe has been appointed to the board of directors of dealer group Centric Wealth.

Cuffe is currently an executive of non-profit group Social Ventures Australia (SVA) and is also a director of a number of financial services organisations.

These include Third Link Investment Managers, UniSuper, WAM Active (a listed investment company) and Arkx Investment Management.

He joined SVA after spending 20 years building wealth management practices at Colonial First State Investments and Challenger Financial Services Group.

Centric Wealth chief executive Michael Pillemer said the dealer group considered itself “fortunate to be able to benefit from his deep strategic and investment expertise as we continue to focus on the needs of our clients".

Directors Roger Davis and Russel Pillemer retired from the Centric board on June 30 this year.
