Following Stephen Hayes' return to Colonial First State Global Asset Management (CFSGAM) in September, four more investment specialists have been appointed to its global listed property securities team.

Tuan Pham and Joseph Daguio - who have been appointed senior portfolio manager and investment analyst respectively for the Asia Pacific region - worked with Hayes for several years before leaving CFSGAM in 2006 to join Perennial Real Estate Investments.

As the previous head of Asia at Perennial, Pham will specialise in Asian property securities and will be based in Sydney with Daguio.

In Europe, Daniela Lungu and Boudewijn van Loen are joining the team as senior portfolio managers.

Lungu was previously a property consultant, advising European property companies on a number of strategic projects.

Before that she was a portfolio manager for UK and European property securities at CBRE Investors.

van Loen previously worked alongside Hayes, Pham and Daguio as Perennial Real Estate Investments' head of Europe/UK.

"We believe that a regional approach - employing specialist property investment professionals in each region - is the most effective way to manage global property securities portfolios," CFSGAM chief investment officer David Dixon said.

As result of changes, senior portfolio manager Antoinette Plater and portfolio manager Marco van Bussell, as well as investment analysts Matthew Gulczynski and Miranda Moran, have departed the company.

Investment analyst John Stavliotis has accepted another role and will be leaving CFSGAM on 2 November.
