CFSGAM appoints Citigroup exec

retirement director

Stephen Halmarick has stepped into the role of head of investment markets research at Colonial First State Global Asset Management following the retirement of Hans Kunnen.

Halmarick will begin his new role in one month, at which time he will become CFSGAM’s key spokesperson on economic and broader financial market issues. He joins CFSGAM from Citigroup, where he was most recently managing director and co-head of the group’s economic and market analysis department for Australia and New Zealand.

Kunnen retired in December last year.
