Colonial First State (CFS) has appointed Bryce Quirk as general manager CFS Advice Relationships, the position previously held by Peter Chun.

The CFS Advice Relationships department was the previously renamed CFS Distribution team, which was changed to better reflect a renewed focus on member outcomes.

Michael Venter, Colonial First State acting chief operating officer, said Quirk had made significant contribution to CFS since joining in March of this year as the head of retail sales.

“Bryce’s early career combined accounting and professional sport and we welcome the breadth of experience and diversity of thought he will bring to the leadership team,” Venter said.

Prior to this, Quirk had been with BT for 10 years in various distribution roles and was most recently head of account management.
